After school

So I am still completely perplexed by the idea of a blog but my friends read it. Surprisingly enough, they like it. They were a little upset that they haven’t been in the blogs so here’s  an overview of my day with them.

First some introductions are needed. Jelly is my friend who I met in my Spanish class when I first moved to Santa Cruz. At first I was completely intimidated by her for some reason but we gradually became friends. She has two cats: Jackie lil Chan and Bruce lee. She’s really nice and we can jam out to old school Taylor swift and have a blast. She has a twin brother Tommy who is friends with Taylor.

Taylor was in my physiology class and we didn’t talk at all until one day she looked at me and she said, “your name is Hannah right?” From then on we just became friends (I’m not sure how from just that small interaction). She is currently teaching me how to surf and is quite the savvy business woman who makes and sells her own swim suits.

We all became friends when Taylor invited me to her boyfriends little back yard concert. I hadn’t really hung with people my age so I was nervous. Taylor knew I wouldn’t know anyone there so she recommended I ask Jelly to come with me. I had never talked to Jelly or Taylor out of class so this was a huge step out of my comfort zone. Taylor asked Jelly to go with me and we went. We got to the concert and Taylor introduced me to everyone. While Taylor talked to other people me and Jelly hung out. It was one of the most relaxing and welcoming places I had ever been. Everyone was nice, the food was good, and so was the music.

That brings us to today. We decided to go to the beach and go swimming. No one in their right mind would go to the beach in 50 degree weather and go swimming…well we did. It was a blasts we played in the waves and got dinner later at ihop. We seem to always be on little adventures and it’s so easy to live in the moment with them. I think I finally found my stress relief.

So far they have made my senior year a dream and they don’t even know it. I can’t wait for the adventures to come.
